Tip Me Over and Pour Me Out 2015

Oh, I love the truth and the invitation woven in today’s quote.

You are filled with beautiful, wonderful things. Experiences. Talents. Personal treasures meant to be shared with others so that they are changed by knowing you.

So often we talk about achieving balance … searching for stability … wanting firm ground under our feet.

Today, let’s be brave enough to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out.

Be a blessing to someone else by daring to be you.

Encourage someone else in the way only you can.

As you have been filled, pour whatever grace you have received on to someone else.

In Your Words: When has someone else “tipped themselves over” so that their beautiful blessed your life?

  1. Well, this morning I was feeling pretty low, and Denali the Happy Husky gave me a Husky Hug; hard to describe, but it’s a very human gesture, approximating an arm-over-the-shoulders comradeship, unlike anything other dogs do.

  2. For me it’s easier to tip than to be tipped on. 🙂 But in the same vein as Andrew’s post, when my cat Suzy deigns to hop up on my lap and put her paw on my chin, I feel blessed. It’s also kind of hard to work.
